Our Refund Policy
Clear, fair terms for every certificate and program purchase. We're a nonprofit, and we'd rather help you move forward than keep a fee you shouldn't have paid.
Certificate & Track Purchases
- Full refund within 7 days of purchase, as long as you have not completed more than the first module of your program.
- If you have completed more than one module but not finished, you may request a 50% refund within 14 days of purchase.
- Once all modules are completed and a certificate has been issued, the purchase is final and non-refundable.
- Programs paid through sliding-scale or financial assistance rates follow the same terms.
- Refunds are returned to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days of approval.
Special Circumstances
- If your case is dismissed or your requirement changes, contact us within 30 days of purchase and we will review a full or partial refund, even if you've completed modules.
- If your court deadline passes because of a problem on our end (technical issue, delayed coach review), you'll receive a full refund or an extension, your choice.
- If we cannot verify certificate delivery for any reason, you'll be refunded in full.
Donations
Donations are non-refundable because they immediately fund program access for participants in need. If a donation was made in error, contact us within 14 days and we'll review it; we can also redirect it toward a different purpose at your request.
How to Request a Refund
Email info@8-dow.org with your access code (or the email you enrolled with) and a short note about your request. We respond within one business day, and most refunds are approved the same week.
Please also confirm with your attorney, probation officer, or court clerk that a program meets your requirement before enrolling; enrollment purchases assume you have done so, and confirmation does not by itself qualify a purchase for a refund.
